Affiliate disclosure
FixItCity is free to use. Here's exactly how we keep the lights on.
Some links on FixItCity are affiliate links, including links marked "Shop" in our guides and toolbox. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission from the retailer. You don't pay anything extra.
FixItCity may participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
When you ask us to match you with a professional, we may be paid by a service partner or pro if a job is booked. That doesn't cost you anything, and you're never obligated to hire.
Our promise
- We recommend the simplest safe fix first, even when it costs nothing.
- We tell you when to call a pro based on safety and risk, not on what pays us.
- Shopping links point to general product searches so you can compare options and prices yourself.
